Dr. WolkenbergerDr. Wolkenberg was awarded his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology by Emory University in its Division 40 Neuropsychology Program.  His internship was at the West Haven Veterans Administration Division 40 Neuropsychology internship.  He is licensed in Maryland, and specializes in Neuropsychology with a particular focus on lifespan developmental issues such as the ADHD and Learning Disabilities diagnoses as they manifest after childhood.  He also has extensive experience in issues relating to aging and to acquired brain injury and is a Certified ImPact Consultant.  In addition to his own practice, among other institutions, he has been affiliated with the National Institute on Drug Abuse's Intramural Program/Brain Imaging Section, where he worked under contract  as a Research Scientist, and as a clinician with The Chesapeake ADHD Center Of Maryland in Silver Spring, MD and with SKY Neurological Rehabilitation in Pikesville, MD.

Dr. Wolkenberg is a Senior Scientist at the MedStar Health Research Institute, consulting with the MedStar Sports Medicine program based at Union Memorial Hospital on research and clinical protocols related to concussion. He was also a Senior Technical Advisor to AnthroTronix, developing the newest generation of computerized cognitive testing instruments under contract to the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Wolkenberg is a member of the International Neuropsychological Society, where he has presented research a number of times, and the National Academy of Neuropsychology and is listed in the National Register of Health Care Providers in Psychology. He has been certified as an expert in Psychology and Neuropsychology by the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.

He is the father of a teenage daughter and a lifelong athlete who has been a nationally ranked fencer and holds a black belt in aikido.
